Our swimming sessions are usually from 6 weeks to 10 weeks (6 – 10 weekend classes).
Based on our experience, 3 minutes is the right amount of time for children 6 months to 3 years old and 35 min for 3- 6 years old. Older children and adult classes last 50 minutes and adult classes 1 hour.
We use flotation belts designed to help our swimmers stay afloat without interfering with their arm/leg movement.
We ask the custodial staff at a John Jay HS to maintain 81-82 degrees. Prospect Heights Int’l HS is approximately 80 degrees. We at All Sports for All People do not have control over the temperature although we make our requests to the custodial staff of each pool. Swim caps and swimming shirts can help children stay warm. Please let us know if you need one.
ASAP of Camp Olympia is closed on most major holidays. For a full list of dates, please click here. These days are not included in the swimming session and do not need to be made up.
We currently accept cash, checks, and online credit card payments.

Check out our class descriptions. You may also email us with a brief swimming background. All our instructors will also determine if the choose class is a good fit for your swimmer.
If you feel that you may want to hold off swimming, you may request a full refund within 48 hours hours of your first lesson. Partial credit may be offered if you notify us after 48 hours. We appreciate any feedback to help improve our program or help find a class to help fit the needs better ( quieter time, smaller class, with caregiver etc.)
Please take a minute to chat with the front desk in regards to moving up. They will inform the instructor, and we can see whether moving up before the session is up is a good idea.
