Swimmers are welcome to join one of our two teams:

Brooklyn Otters is a Competitive Swim Team that requires participation in meets and has an intense practice schedule. Brooklyn Otters Practice at Erasmus Hall at 911 Flatbush Ave, Brooklyn.

Junior Swim Team is offered to young swimmers looking to improve their stroke techniques and endurance without the intensity of competitions. Juniors practice at International Highschool at 883 Classon Avenue, Brooklyn.

      Pre-requisites for Competitive Swim Team

• • swim 100 yards freestyle and backstroke with proper technique
  • swim  50  yards breaststroke and butterfly

  Pre-requisites for Junior Swim Team

• swim 2 laps (50 yards) freestyle and backstroke with proper technique

To register for a tryout please scroll down below. Please choose the date of the tryout from the drop-down menu.

Your swimmer will need to bring: 

- a bathing suit 
- a towel 
- swim goggles 
- a water bottle

As our locations are New York City public schools, all people entering the building are required to pass through a security check where ID is required for adults. Please allow some extra time to pass through scanners. All metal objects will need to be removed.
